For the last 20 years I have worked professionally as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. By engaging the body in movement, the heart of my practice has always been to restore emotional, physical, mental and spiritual health. Through the years I have come to recognize and respect the delicate relationship between our physical and emotional selves, and learnt how to maintain that balance. My dance background has given me an acute understanding of the body’s structure and needs. I have taught dance techniques to professional dancers and used movement skills to empower abused, mentally handicapped, deaf individuals and children who live on the street. My training includes the disciplines of contemporary dance, ballet, yoga, contact and rhythm work, improvisation, Alexander Technique and aerobic instructing. I have independently produced and performed concepts and creations in theatres around the world. The assimilation of all this learning, a firsthand knowledge in overcoming various injuries, as well as my personal experience of a healthy, pain-free pregnancy and an empowering natural childbirth, has enabled me to design and fine-tune spiral therapy. I believe that my experience has infused me with an instinct for healing.
As an artist, my roles of woman-mother-lover-carer-friend are essential components. Everything connects and delicately integrates in a performance of life. Now my specialized skill and knowledge of body form and movement has become larger than the studio or stage. It has creatively evolved to a therapeutic place where you and I can meet. I want to share my gift with you.
